About Meridian

Who We Are

Meridian was founded in Kaohsiung with a straightforward belief: that most organizations don't lack intelligence — they lack a clear view of themselves. Founders often know their businesses deeply but find it difficult to step back from day-to-day operations long enough to identify structural friction, strategic gaps, or unspoken assumptions that shape how decisions get made.

We started with organizational audits — helping mid-sized companies map their own internal structures and see where communication lines had frayed or grown redundant. Over time, our clients began asking for help with bigger questions: how to allocate capital more thoughtfully, how to prepare for leadership changes, how to make decisions under conditions that didn't fit neatly into a spreadsheet.

Today, Meridian offers three tightly focused consulting services: Organizational Clarity Audits, Financial Strategy Consultations, and Succession Planning Frameworks. We've kept the practice intentionally lean. Every engagement is led by senior consultants, and every deliverable is crafted for the specific situation — not pulled from a template library.

What defines our work is not speed or scale, but the quality of attention we bring to each engagement. We listen carefully, document honestly, and deliver findings that are specific enough to act on. Our clients include family-owned businesses, growing tech firms, financial services companies, and professional service providers across Taiwan.

Our Mission

Helping Organizations Think Clearly About What Matters Most

We believe that the best consulting doesn't add complexity — it removes it. Our purpose is to help companies see their own situations with fresh eyes, make well-informed decisions, and move forward with intention rather than inertia.

Standards

How We Work

Client Confidentiality

Every engagement is governed by a formal NDA. We maintain strict protocols around data handling, interview notes, and financial documentation — and we never share client information across engagements.

Evidence-Based Methodology

Our findings are grounded in documented processes, structured interviews, and financial analysis — not assumptions or generic industry benchmarks. We show you the evidence behind every recommendation.

Senior-Led Delivery

Your project is led by the same people who scope it. We don't hand off work to junior staff after the pitch. The consultants in the room at kickoff are the ones delivering your final report.

Structured Deliverables

Every engagement produces documented, actionable outputs — clarity maps, strategy frameworks, transition blueprints — that you can use internally long after the engagement concludes.

Regulatory Awareness

We stay current with Taiwan's corporate governance requirements, financial reporting standards, and succession-related regulations. Our advice accounts for the legal and compliance context you operate in.

Defined Timelines

We set clear timelines at the start of each project and communicate proactively if anything changes. Respect for your time is built into how we manage every phase of the engagement.

Our Values

What Guides Our Practice

At the heart of Meridian's consulting practice is a commitment to honesty in observation. When we enter an organization, our role is not to validate existing assumptions or tell leadership what they want to hear. We're there to document what we actually find — the strengths, the blind spots, the unspoken tensions that shape how decisions are made. This honesty is not always comfortable, but it's what makes our work useful.

We value depth over breadth. Rather than offering a wide range of loosely connected services, we focus on three areas where we can deliver the most meaningful work: organizational structure, financial direction, and leadership transition. This focus allows us to bring genuine expertise to each engagement, rather than surface-level familiarity with many topics.

Discretion is another cornerstone of our practice. The conversations we facilitate — about ownership transitions, internal challenges, financial vulnerabilities — are by nature sensitive. Clients trust us with information that rarely leaves the boardroom, and we treat that trust as non-negotiable.

Finally, we believe in leaving behind tools, not dependencies. Our deliverables are designed to be understood and used by your own team long after the engagement ends. We're here to help you think more clearly — not to make you reliant on outside advisors for every decision that follows.

Let's Talk About What You're Working Through

We're always happy to have an initial conversation — no commitment needed. If our services are a good fit, we'll outline what an engagement would look like for you.
